Cathy has knitted and crocheted for almost all of her 82 years of life. She makes children’s sweaters and hats now just for fun and to keep busy. She enjoys adding a special touch to an existing pattern to make them one-of-a-kind, incorporating interesting buttons, tassels, or other adornments.

Most of Cathy’s work is made from washable acrylic yarn. Special care instructions will be included with any other items she may make from cotton or wool.

Since moving from Montana to live with her daughter here in Charlottesville, Cathy has enjoyed the Downtown Mall and looks forward to meeting people and making new friends.
