C’ville Arts Features – “Happiness Blooms” - During March

C’ville Arts is delighted to present group show of work inspired by the promise of spring. Our entire membership will offer an exhibit filled with new ideas as our creative spirits begin another season with fresh thoughts and a willingness to try new things. Select members will be at the gallery to greet you on Friday March 1, from 4 – 6 p.m. during the Historic Downtown Mall’s First Friday celebration.

Spring is all about new beginnings and transformations; it’s a season that symbolizes starting fresh and starting over. After the winter and cold temperatures that often result in many feeling the blues, spring reawakens us and our surrounding environment, bringing everything back to life in the studios of almost 60 artists. Spring is a reminder of how beautiful change can truly be. Our members express their spring inspirations using a wide variety of techniques and high-quality materials with very uplifting results.

In this show, you’ll enjoy an abundance of imaginations blooming all in one place. Our group is preparing colorful compositions using a wide range of methods from fused glass spring scenes to budding landscape oil paintings, or charming ceramic inspirations to sparkling mosaics, mixed media, fiber, felting and so much more including fresh ideas from our talented jewelers and woodworkers. Spring is a time of renewal, and awakening, early flowers are pushing through the earth and things are coming to life inside our gallery too!

Shake off the winter blues and find some welcome views!! Celebrate spring with Cville Arts!
