Trina Player discovered her love of ceramics in high school by hand-building pinch pots. It was not until 1998 that she found herself inspired sitting at a potter’s wheel.

Creating pottery has become a passion for Trina. “Working with clay keeps me grounded on the important things in life” she says, ”and it is so satisfying to actually create a piece of pottery that someone will enjoy for a long time.”

Trina Player graduated from UNC-Asheville with a BA in Psychology. She lives and works in Crozet, VA with her husband and young daughter.
